The Torrontés comes from a dramatic desert vineyard located at 3,298 feet above sea level in the north of Argentina. Created by The Vines of Mendoza with acclaimed consulting winemaker, Santiago Achával, Torrontés is a crisp, dry and intensely aromatic white wine that captures the fundamental qualities of high altitude terroir.
FOOTNOTE: In an interesting form of real estate development, 3- to 10-acre parcels are being offered by The Vines of Mendoza in a 900-acre area in Uco Valley at the foot of the Andes mountains.
